Mesquite - made in 2012
Looking back through my photos, I remember these beautiful 4" high crosses that I made in June of 2012 from mesquite given to me by artist John Geldersma who lives north of Santa Fe. Mesquite is a complex wood with rich color, enhanced in this batch of 15 crosses by a couple of coats of Danish oil.
